DIPOLOG CITY, March 11, 2024 – The midline conference for the School-Based Feeding Program (SBFP) took place on March 8, 2024, at the Mibang Hotel, bringing together SBFP School Coordinators from various educational institutions. The conference needed to address ongoing issues and concerns related to the SBFP’s implementation.

Participants, including SDO proponents, school heads, and other non-teaching personnel, gathered to discuss and expedite resolutions regarding the program’s implementation. Key topics included a review of the SBFP itself, concerns regarding accounting and liquidation processes, and updates on Nutritious Food Products (NFP) and the Milk Feeding Component (MFC).

During the conference, participants engaged in fruitful discussions, sharing insights and experiences to improve the effectiveness of the SBFP. By addressing these issues, the conference aimed to enhance the program’s impact on student well-being and nutrition.

Aligned with the MATATAG Agenda, DepEd Dipolog continues to implement the SBFP, with the utmost priority of nurturing learner well-being. The Division ensures access to nutritious meals for learners and fosters a conducive learning environment to support their physical development.
