PIÑAN, February 16, 2024 – During the Regional Partnerships Summit Recognition of Partners and Special Programs and Project Coordinators, DepEd Dipolog successfully delivers the accomplishment report for FY 2023. Dipolog showcased achievements in its Building Partnerships and Linkages Program, focusing on the Adopt-a-School Program, Local Stakeholders’ Convergence, and Government and Community Partnerships Management.
Collaborations included initiatives with the Philippine Red Cross and JVR Foundation, earning regional and national awards. Projects like Project VISSER and donations from organizations like the Rotary Foundation and FICCO Dipolog expanded engagement. Project LEAD enhanced literacy and numeracy across 48 schools. Security Bank built 2-storey 6 classrooms.
Local Stakeholders’ Convergence focused on capacity building and advocacy, while Government and Community Partnerships Management ensured effective coordination, including successful implementation of PRAISE.
Financially, the division demonstrated impressive budget utilization rates and received contributions from stakeholders. LGU Dipolog, through the Special Education Fund, delivered projects worth 41.3 million.
Looking ahead to 2024, the Division aims to strengthen infrastructure, centers of excellence, and inclusive education, while pursuing digitization and new partnerships.
